Our results show an overall decrease in soil loss rates during the last 35 years, up to 50 % in some areas, as an effect of the land abandonment process or by reducing the agricultural and industrial exploitation, while the scenario-based analysis proves the effects of different land management practices over soil loss rates evolution.
